December 22, 2009 by Gully Boy

So you've racked up a bunch of student loans and don't know what to do?  Have you considered consoladating them into one monthly payment?  This can work if you don't have a lot of money or are just starting out on a new job.  Beware, these debt consolidation firms often jack your rates up and you may end up paying back more than you owed, however a lot of them do come with a 30 day out option which means you can cancel your contract with them given you provide a thirty day notice.

Steven Sheffield Goes for it!

January 3, 2010 by Gully Boy

Steven Sheffield provided a spark, all right.

The former walk-on just led an eight-play, 77-yard scoring drive that gave Texas Tech a 34-31 lead with 5:03 remaining. Sheffield converted a third-and-12 situation with a 43-yard completion to Lyle Leong, who made a nice leaping catch in double coverage, and three plays later he threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Detron Lewis.

Tech likely will win the game with one more defensive stop.

Did you know?

January is an appropriate month for date-based palindromes. It’s named for Janus, a Roman god depicted with two faces looking in opposite directions.
